Since 1977, I have dedicated my career to the hospitality sector, bringing 47 years of hands-on experience in hotel and pub management, business turnaround, and operational consultancy.

As a General Manager, I have led operations in:

  • Five independent country house hotels
  • Two national brewery hotels

In 1993, I was approached by a leading London consultancy to take control of their distressed hotels division. This required close collaboration with banks, accountants, solicitors, creditors, and management teams—often dealing with insolvency and bankruptcy scenarios.   • Meetings outside Bristol: Minimum charge of £285 for 3 hours + travel & accommodation
  • Fees are significantly lower than accountants and solicitors (who typically charge £200+ per hour plus VAT)
  • All fees must be settled in advance via bank transfer
